Keep the stuff that you love right at your fingertips and bring life to your desktop with fun, stylish, and useful Yahoo! Widgets (also known as Konfabulator Widgets).

I’ve been playing around with these cool desktop widgets for a couple weeks now and I’m overly impressed. They are Super Cool Gadgets and EVERYONE should have these on their computer. You can choose from literally THOUSANDS of gadgets and tools for your desktop.

I built one myself that shows the last 10 DailyTool.com posts so you don’t have to keep coming to the site unless you see something on the feed that you may be interested in. VERY COOL!

The picture on the right is a screenshot of my desktop. Notice the Weather Widget which tells my current weather hear in North Palm Beach, Florida. I have a few others installed as well. There are so many cool ones to choose from, I don’t have enough desktop space!

The Yahoo Engine comes with the Weather Widget, a Clock and about 10 others. You can find some really cool Clocks Here. Trust me, you’ll waste hours on these stupid widgets - lol - You can also get some pretty cool tools like Conversion Tools, Currency Converters, WiFi Signal Strength Meters, or even a Drive Space Indicater…

Get the Daily Tool Widget!

1. To get Widgets on your desktop, you first need to download the Yahoo! Widget Engine for FREE. It comes with quite a few widgets already so play with them a bit to understand how they work. You’ll figure it out in 3 minutes. TIP: When you install the engine, choose “Custom Install” and deselect the Yahoo Browser Toolbar, so you don’t have to look at that on the top of your browser every day…

2. Then Download the DailyTool Widget to get the last 10 DailyTool.com Posts fed directly to your desktop. After you install it, you can right click on the X and adjust the Transparency of the Widget so you can see your desktop picture.

3. Then Download the Amazon Search Widget. After you install it, you can right click on the frame of the widget and adjust the Transparency so you can see your desktop picture.
