Before I blindly jumped in with some Friday wit… I thought I would check the reviews on Amazon to see if I was missing the point. Here are my observations:
1) $13 is worth it for waking up and deciding whether the weather is too hot or cold to go outside and drink beer and grill some chow.
2) Why 3 sensors…ever? The range can’t be very far, maybe a 100′ if you had a clear shot between units and who really cares if the front yard is 1 degree cooler or warmer than the backyard? I’m smart enough to know a shady spot when I see one and if the IRS drives up to the house.
3) The only bad review was some nut blabbering on about how this thing could be 2 degrees off inside and outside. Ok, accuracy is one thing but get a life dude! Facts; water freezes at 32F and boils at 212F at sea level. (Someone will point out a flaw in physics at this point but my beer just needs to be between a solid and a gas)
4) No backlight or AC power options make it portable but somewhat less desirable. Still $13 = good buy
