Hahahahaha, I’m tempted to order one just to see what happens.
October 26th, 2006 at 4:17 pm
the description says a ball pein hammer. I am also thinking of springing 25 bucks to see what happens.

AND, if you opt for the amazon.com rewards card you get a $30 discount, making it FREE!
yea, baby!
October 26th, 2006 at 4:24 pm
i got one…no cancellation yet!
October 26th, 2006 at 4:30 pm
in for one …. not cancelled yet also
October 26th, 2006 at 4:31 pm
If they cancel, ask for a gift card. I’ve gotten $5 & $10 cards for their mistakes. You may need to call and insist on it. Chances are though, you will receive the hammer - then have to get a credit.
October 26th, 2006 at 4:31 pm
if this goes through I’m donation 100 bux to the site.
October 26th, 2006 at 4:33 pm

October 26th, 2006 at 4:35 pm
Do we have to pay you $100 if it doesn’t?
October 26th, 2006 at 4:37 pm
no listing of this model # on their website.(ToolTopia)

Here is a screenshot for future reference if you need it. Notice the date in the bottom right corner. Please do not send Amazon a link to the screenshot on DailyTool.com. Just copy/save and email it to them.

Weird; I put one in the cart and even though the description stays the same with the price next to it, the cart shows:
Items: $97.64
Shipping & Handling: $6.99
Total Before Tax: $104.63
Estimated Tax:* $0.00
I’m too lazy go through the hassles of fighting a mistake by Amazon or ToolTopia, common sense says don’t try it Woody.
I do want to hear if anyone gets it. I would love to see someone actually get this (and hopefully re-sell it for a profit). Honestly, it would be cool to know the system paid someone back big for this.
Order Total: $104.63

got confirmation from amazon.charged CC and sent to ToolTopia to fill order but they dont have that part# listed. wtf—–screwed!!!!

I think R12 refrigerant is an older type, my Honda uses HFA134a refrigerant. This R12 system may very well be obsolete….I’m no expert but perhaps not worth much to anyone?
October 26th, 2006 at 7:42 pm
hmmmm just googled the part number and look what I found….looks alot like a hammer indeed…
12oz Ball Peen Hammer
October 26th, 2006 at 9:14 pm

October 26th, 2006 at 11:02 pm
they confirmed my order now…hmmm…we’ll see….i am gonna be ticked if a $31 hammer arrives.
October 26th, 2006 at 11:35 pm
I’m guessing all of you are getting a high priced hammer. If you get the real thing, I’m really going to hate myself.
October 27th, 2006 at 10:26 am
Oh well - just got an email from the store that sells through Amazon…permanently out of stock. Order cancelled and refunded.
Worth a try….
October 27th, 2006 at 10:57 am
just notifed—order cancelled—out of stock permenently.Dang, could have sold that for $2000.00
October 27th, 2006 at 2:12 pm
i knew this would be cancelled. im about to try for a gift card.
October 27th, 2006 at 10:47 pm
I also got a cancelled order and was going to try for a gift card. How do you normally go about doing that?
October 27th, 2006 at 11:37 pm
The best and most likely way is by telephone. You have to make a stink, then ask for the gift card. It will probably be $5 and $10 if you’re lucky.
